Over half my 20 year tech career was focused on helping Software Engineers and other tech professionals excel in their specialities. That naturally found its way into my Career & Life coaching with those kinds of clients.
I’m working on new programs and resources to support a broader set of skills development specific to tech professionals and seeking out partnerships with mentors across specialities to provide further support.

I’ve been running pilot workshops covering Self-Advocacy, Adjusting to Change, and Feeling Spread Thin. Cohorts have joined for initial plan creation and skill development followed by regular check-ins and plan reviews.
I’ll be opening up expressions of interest for new cohorts to a wider group soon. Email jacklyn@wholeatwork.com if you’d like to be kept in the loop.
Workshops across tech specialities through partnerships with other mentors & educators will be introduced over time too starting with programming workshops I’ll be running. I’ve missed my tech educator days so it’s time to get started again!

Whole at Work hasn’t been the only big new adventure in my life this year!
At the start of 2026 I signed up to learn how to safely do fire eating & dance and am entering my 4th term! As someone disabled & chronically ill there’s many ways I learnt to have a mistrust of my body. When you’re putting fire in your mouth you need to learn to have A LOT of trust that your body will keep you safe.

A few months ago I started streaming on Twitch and have already attracted a wonderful community, enjoyed collaborations with inspiring Twitch Partners, and have created a supportive and welcoming space for my community.
For my safety and privacy I’ve not shared details about this with many people who know me as Jacklyn. I’m in the process of putting safety precautions in place. I want to allow this wonderful outlet of community and creativity to finally be opened up to more people in my personal life and to those in my professional life too.
