Simple guide to pricing and costs
I’ve created this page to help make the costs easy to understand. Sessions pricing is kept simple, your path ahead is unique but generally follows a typical flow, and the initial consultation is a fixed rate for everyone as the starting point before any longer commitment is made. If you want to understand more about what the work actually involves and what changes through it, Benefits & Outcomes is a good place to start.
$130 · 50 minutes · everyone
A fixed rate for all new clients. It's not a sales call — it's a proper working session. We map what's most present for you right now, establish how we'd work together, and confirm whether this is the right fit.
Tier (Professional or Senior & Leader), cadence, and format are worked out together during this session. There's no further commitment required until after we've met.

Who's in which tier
Professional — Individual contributors and mid-level professionals — anyone whose work is primarily their own to manage, without responsibility for guiding or supporting others.
Senior & Leader — Anyone with responsibility for guiding, supporting, or managing others — whether that's direct reports, a team, workplace mentees, or people whose direction they're involved in, with or without a formal title.
Tier is confirmed at the initial consultation — you don't need to work this out before we meet.
The way it usually goes
The work we do moves through three natural stages — not on a fixed timeline, but in a shape most people recognise. How long each stage takes depends on what's in front of you. Some people will move through the first stage quickly. Some will spend longer there. The stages are descriptions of where the work is, not a schedule to keep to.
Laying the groundwork
Typically the first three months — can be shorter or longer · Fortnightly · 50 min
The first work is usually with the things that are most present — the daily costs of working in an environment that wasn't built with you in mind, the situations that keep coming up, the patterns that drain energy before the day has properly started. Sessions are fortnightly because the real work happens between them: actually using the tools in real conditions. Too much time between sessions at this stage makes that harder to sustain.
Most people also need some bespoke materials prepared during this stage — advocacy scripts, tailored frameworks, session summaries — typically around 20–30 minutes of preparation once a month.
Approximate monthly cost:
Professional: 2 standard sessions ($360) + ~25 min materials prep (~$65) = ~$425/month
Senior & Leader: 2 standard sessions ($440) + ~25 min materials prep (~$88) = ~$528/month
Building the practice
Typically months three to six — varies with what's in front of you · Every 3–4 weeks
Once there are some foundations under the most pressing things, sessions ease to every 3–4 weeks. The work expands — other things that were always there but harder to reach start coming into view, and new disruptions come in. Check-in sessions are useful here: a 25-minute recalibration when something comes up between standard sessions, without the full weight of a standard session.
Materials preparation continues at a similar frequency but is often lighter — a quick update or a short addition after a check-in rather than something built from scratch.
Approximate monthly cost:
Professional: 1 standard session ($180) + occasional check-ins + light materials prep = ~$205–315/month
Senior & Leader: 1 standard session ($220) + occasional check-ins + light materials prep = ~$255–390/month
For the long haul
Month six onward · Every 4–6 weeks
One session every 4–6 weeks as a baseline, with ad-hoc sessions when significant things arise. The focus shifts from navigating what's been draining energy to building what adds to your life and career. Slots are kept available most weeks — you're never waiting when something comes up that you need to work through.
Approximate monthly cost:
Professional: 1 standard session ($180) + occasional ad-hoc sessions and light materials = ~$180–285/month
Senior & Leader: 1 standard session ($220) + occasional ad-hoc sessions and light materials = ~$220–345/month
The pacing recommendations I present here exist because the tools built in sessions make a real difference when they're practised — not just learned. Moving to a longer gap before the practice is established makes it harder to keep using the tools in real conditions without some calibration. These aren't about balancing the costs — they're about what actually makes the work land.
Preparation & materials
Bespoke resources built to go deeper on something discussed during a session — advocacy scripts, tailored frameworks, and other materials specific to your situation. Always agreed in advance, never a surprise on an invoice. Session summaries are included after every session at no additional cost.

The groundwork bundle
Professional tier only · Available after the initial consultation
$900 · 6 sessions · $1,080 at standard rate
Saving: $180 — the cost of your initial consultation ($130) plus a $50 discount.
Six standard sessions at fortnightly pace, covering the first three months of the work. The bundle exists because committing to the first three months is what makes the work land — and the saving is there to make that commitment easier to make.
Materials preparation is charged separately as it comes up — always agreed in advance.
Not offered at the Senior & Leader rate — those engagements more commonly need in-depth or extended sessions, which are priced and scheduled to suit.
Ways to adjust if the full cadence doesn't fit right now
The way the work unfolds isn't fixed. These are honest options — each with trade-offs worth knowing about before choosing them.
Start at every 3–4 weeks instead of fortnightly
Lower monthly cost
Sessions run every 3–4 weeks from the beginning rather than fortnightly. The work of laying the groundwork still happens — it just takes longer, and the stage naturally extends.
Worth knowing: A longer gap early on makes it harder to stay in practice with new tools while the conditions that make things hard are still constant. It works better when the situation is relatively settled and there's strong self-directed follow-through between sessions.
Alternate standard sessions with check-ins
Lower cost per touchpoint
Instead of fortnightly standard sessions, alternate between a standard session one fortnight and a 25-minute check-in the next. Regular contact at a lower monthly cost — roughly $290/month (Professional) or $360/month (Senior & Leader).
Worth knowing: Check-ins are for recalibration, not for building new tools. If the groundwork is still being laid, check-ins alone won't give enough space to work through more complex situations. They work well once some foundations are already in place.
